Secondary school students aged 12-15 face bullying in school and online leading to reduced self-esteem, and stress. This issue is driven in peer environments and lacks engaging tools. Tackling bullying is essential to creating a safer, and more comfortable space for students to thrive.
solution
The Feel Better Club app design combines empathy with a user- friendly experience - a very important feature in apps designed for victims of bullying. With the calming colour tones used, the app creates a warming space for students to work on their goals as well as manage their bullying.
Inspired by a personal story with the struggles I faced with my mental health and how I desired an app to improve my self-esteem, Feel Better Club was born. Bullying is a huge issue across secondary school, and several more people are struggling each and every day. It is important that a dedicated platform and brand is created to combat the dire effects of bullying across schools.
“Feel Better Club” is a powerful, and positive name that resonates with my 12-15 year old target audience. The name creates a sense of belonging, a critical need for secondary school students victims of bullying. The word “club” also signifies a sense of a safe and supportive community.
All the logos combine a sense of playfulness and comfort from the wordmark to the visual pieces. They feel homely embodying positive and good vibes for the whole brand.
The speech bubble incorporates the sense of talking to the bespoke AI Therapist making the platform not too overwhelming for the audience.
